Joe Brolly has revealed Joe Biden gifted him a pair of cufflinks as a wedding gift, after the GAA pundit married the US President's third cousin.
Laurita Blewitt is the third cousin of President Biden and invited him to her nuptials to Brolly last year – but he was unable to attend due to security requirements.
Joe has now revealed on Twitter that the US President sent him a pair of cufflinks featuring the official Seal of the President of the United States, that had been sent by Biden to him as a wedding gift.
He tweeted: “Belated wedding present just arrived from the big guy.”
Joe and Laurita got engaged in 2021 and tied the knot a year later in 2022 on the banks of the river Moy, overlooking views across the river and out to the Wild Atlantic Way.
