It has been confirmed that the final of the Ulster U20 Football Championship will take place on Wednesday, April 26 at the Box-It Athletic Grounds.
Derry take on Down in the decider, but the date means both counties will have some tough decisions to make regarding their senior panellists.
As it stands, players cannot play for the U20s and seniors within seven days. Derry were successful in having their semi-final clash with Donegal moved, but Clare’s case to the DRA on the issue failed.

If any of Down’s U20 play in their Ulster SFC quarter-final clash against Donegal in Newry on Sunday, they won’t be able to line-out against Derry next Wednesday night in the U20 final.
Odhran Murdock has been one of Down’s best players in their run to the final, but is also a key member of the senior squad and it will be interesting to see if Conor Laverty opts to name him in the squad for Sunday’s Donegal game.
His Burren clubmate Paddy McCarthy is in the same predicament while Ryan Magill picked up a hamstring injury in the semi-final win over Monaghan and won’t feature.
Derry’s Ulster SFC semi-final clash with Monaghan will take place in O’Neills Healy Park on Saturday, April 29 at 5pm.
Therefore, if Eoin McEvoy, Lachlan Murray, Matthew Downey, Niall O’Donnell or Mark Doherty play in the U20 final, they can’t feature against the Farney three days later.
Meanwhile, the second semi-final, which will feature the winners of this weekend’s quarter-final games, will be played in Clones on Sunday, April 30 at 4pm.
The Ulster SFC final will also take place at St Tiernach’s Park on Sunday, May 14 at 4pm.
