The latest Billboard charts have been dominated by the collaborative album 'We Don't Trust You' by Future and Metro Boomin. The album has made history by debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 with the largest starting sum of 2024, with every song featured on the album also making its way to the Hot 100.
Five songs from 'We Don't Trust You' have debuted inside the top 10 on the Hot 100, giving Future and Boomin control over half of all the spaces in that region. The songs that have entered the top 10 include 'Like That' featuring Kendrick Lamar at No. 1, 'Type Shit' featuring Travis Scott and Playboi Carti at No. 2, 'Cinderella' featuring Travis Scott at No. 6, 'We Don't Trust You' at No. 8, and 'Young Metro' featuring The Weeknd at No. 9.
According to Billboard, Future and Boomin are now the sixth and seventh musicians in U.S. history to occupy at least five spaces inside the top 10 on the Hot 100 simultaneously. This achievement puts them in the company of music legends, with The Beatles being the first musical act to claim half of the top 10 on the Hot 100 twice in 1964.
Taylor Swift holds the record for owning the most real estate inside the top 10 on the Hot 100 at one time. In late 2022, she became the first musician to have all 10 tracks from her album 'Midnights' fill positions one through 10 on the Hot 100 chart.
Drake has also made his mark by occupying at least half of the spots in the top 10 on the Hot 100 multiple times, with four separate occasions to his name. On one occasion, he nearly claimed the entire top 10, falling short only to Taylor Swift.
Other musicians who have managed to claim half of the top 10 on the Hot 100 include Morgan Wallen, Juice WRLD, and 21 Savage. While some artists have come close, only a select few have been able to achieve this remarkable feat.
