Fury vs Whyte LIVE!
Tyson Fury beat Dillian Whyte with a stunning sixth-round stoppage at Wembley.
After a cautious start to the fight with both fighters, it threatened to boil over in the fourth round when Whyte threw at Fury as the referee called for the pair to break. Both then ignored the referee again, as the corners got increasingly agitated.
It looked like Fury was easing to a sixth straight comfortable round, but he then stepped it up a gear with a sensational right uppercut. It sent Whyte tumbling to the canvas, and while he briefly got up, his legs were not there and the referee quickly waved it off.
Also on the card, Tommy Fury, Tyson’s brother, returned to action for the first time since he pulled out of facing Jake Paul at the end of last year. He won every round of his fight against Daniel Bocianski to extend his record to 8-0. David Adeleye beat Chris Healey, with the referee jumping in midway through the fourth round.
Ekow Essuman defended his belts against Darren Tetley, in a fight that was a late addition to the card.
Isaac Lowe suffered a second consecutive defeat as Nick Ball won the vacant WBC silver featherweight title. Lowe had to contend with an extremely deep cut throughout, with the fight eventually stopped in the sixth round.
Earlier in the night, Karol Itauma and Royston Barney-Smith both extended their unbeaten records.
