Pep Guardiola is still angry with "stupid" Kyle Walker for his three-game Champions League ban.
Manchester City are facing a defensive crisis, with Walker, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo and Nathan Ake out of tonight's Champions League last 16 second leg tie against Sporting Lisbon.
Although City are 5-0 up from the first leg, Guardiola remains furious with Walker, who will serve the second of his three-game ban, following his red card against RB Leipzig.
The England international was judged to have kicked Andre Silva - making little or no attempt to play the ball - during City's final group game.
Red cards in Champions League ties carry an automatic one-match ban, but UEFA deemed the foul to be an "assault" and extended Walker's punishment to three games.

The Premier League champions lost a UEFA appeal against Walker's ban, with Guardiola revealing he disagreed with the club's decision to contest the suspension.
"He deserved the three game ban," said Guardiola. "When a player does a stupid thing, he deserves to be banned for three games.
"I'm not so kind to Kyle in this kind of action. I'm still so angry with him.
"It's not necessary to discuss with him, he knows it. Kyle is so important for us, you saw the game he played against [Manchester] United?
"But in Leipzig, when we had already qualified, 80 minutes in and he made this kind of action? He deserves the three games. The club appealed, but I did not agree.
"They have to do it because, in other similar cases, it was just two games, but he deserved it. Hopefully, he learns for the future."
Speaking after the 2-1 defeat to Leipzig in December, Guardiola said it was "definitely" a red card and criticised Walker.
"The red card hurts us, especially for the round of 16," said the Spaniard. "Kyle Walker is an important player for us and is unnecessary to lose him like this.
"I hope he learns from this... it's a red card, definitely. I'm not coming here to say what happened in the dressing room."
Walker added: "My red card against Leipzig was very bad judgement and a stupid error that a 31-year-old shouldn't be making with the amount of games that I've played.
"I'm human, I make mistakes and I'm learning from that and will bounce back.
"Hopefully my performances between now and the end of the season can justify that and I'm picking up some silverware."
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand admitted Walker deserved a sending off but only a one-game ban for his poor tackle on Silva.
"I’ve seen worse than that," claimed Ferdinand. "I would say it was a bit of frustration from his own performance. He wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that.
"But, no complaints over the red card. I think the one game [ban] will be enough."
Former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott added: "I would be surprised if they do extend it to more than one game [ban]. But, definitely a red card in my opinion."
