Canadian stand-up comedian Russell Peters continues his comeback with all-new "Act Your Age World Tour", bringing the show to Bangkok at CentralWorld Live, 8th floor of CentralWorld, Ratchadamri Road, on Feb 18 at 7.30pm.
For this outing the 52-year-old comedian -- whose previous stand-up show "The Deported World Tour" was seen by more than 400,000 fans in 40 cities across 20 countries -- gives his take on cancel culture, ageing and the current state of the world.
He's currently touring North America and will head to Asia for shows here as well as in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore before touring New Zealand and Australia.
Named one of Rolling Stone's 50 Best Comics of All Time, Peters is known for his cultural observations and mimicry. He began performing in his native Toronto at the age of 19 and spent the next 15 years honing his craft at clubs across Canada and the UK.
The turning point of his career was his 2004 CTV Comedy Now! special which was uploaded onto YouTube and became popular. In 2007, he was the first comedian to sell out Toronto's Air Canada Centre.
Peters has been awarded Gemini, Peabody, Emmy and Canadian Screen Awards for his hosting, producing and acting talents.
