Once again, an article suggesting we go foraging for wild mushrooms (I travel across Britain foraging wild food. Here’s what to look for, and where, 30 September). In the same week, you reported that fungi are among our most threatened wildlife. Parasols are elegant, ceps are a lovely sticky brown; all are a joy to be seen by everyone, not foraged by the few. Next spring, will you run articles about how we can make our kitchens prettier by foraging primroses and bluebells?
