A fundraiser has been set up to support the family of Nicola Bulley after a body found in the River Wyre in Lancashire on Sunday was confirmed to be hers. Police confirmed the news on Monday.
The mum-of-two had gone missing on January 27 after dropping her children off at school. She was walking her dog at the time.
Extensive searches were carried out before the discovery was made on Sunday. Now, a fundraiser has been set up to support Nicola's family as they come to terms with her death. The gofundme page has been set up by Andy Lawson, who said he was a colleague of Paul Ansell, Nicola's partner.
Andy wrote: "Nicola, or Nikki as she was called by her family, was the partner of Paul Ansell. Paul is a close work colleague of mine, and this page has been set up to allow anyone that would like to support Paul and his two daughters, aged six and nine, through this truly devastating time a way in which they can help."
He added: "This fund aims to provide some financial support for Nikki's two young daughters now and into the future."
