It can be hard to keep the kids entertained as they are off school for the summer holidays.
Luckily, there are a number of fun options for a family day out across Northern Ireland.

An award-winning science and discovery centre in Belfast suitable for the whole family. It offers eight new interactive zones.
Colin Glen Forest Park
A sports park in Dunmurry with world class attractions including alpine coasteering, laser tag, golfing and a Gruffalo trail.
Aunt Sandra's Candy Factory
Located in East Belfast. Offers handmade candies and hosts workshops.
Belfast Zoo
Home to more than 120 different species, most of which are endangered or extinct in the wild.
Inflatable Park at Vertigo Titanic Park
Inflatable fun world with challenging obstacles located in Belfast's Titanic Quarter. Indoor Skydiving is also on site.
Prison Island
Located on Balmoral Road in Belfast. It's like an escape room and has 25 cells that require a combination of intellectual, technical and physical skills.
The Prison Island adventure is co-operative and you enter the cells together to pass the test.
Indoor Aqua Park at Andersonstown Leisure Centre
Located in West Belfast. Attractions here include the first-ever drop slide in Ireland and Surf Belfast, Northern Ireland's first indoor surf simulator.
For the younger thrill seekers, there's the Aqua Play area, a huge fun zone for under 12s complete with a water tipping bucket, slides and water cannons.
Let's Go Hydro
Located in Carryduff and features an outdoor aqua park perfect for adrenaline junkies.
The Lost City Adventure Golf
The Lost City at Cityside Retail & Leisure Park in Belfast houses two 18-hole indoor adventure golf courses.
Ulster Museum
Located at Botanic Gardens in Belfast and has collections of art, history and natural sciences with learning opportunities for kids.
Co Armagh
Armagh Planetarium
Armagh’s Education team deliver a variety of presenter-led shows under the dome, taking in journeys around the solar system and the stars.
Gosford Karting Armagh
Racing outdoors to give you the same experience as racing in a professional Grand Prix. The purpose built circuit is near Gosford Forest Park.
Minimum height restriction 4ft 3ins and minimum age is eight years old.
Portadown People's Park
The play park features equipment suitable from toddlers to teens.
C&J's Animal Park
C&J's Animal Park is a mini zoological establishment/open farm set in Portadown. It boasts "a wide variety of animals, from farm animals to reptiles, and cuddly bunnies to endangered exotics".
'Play Wild' at Oxford Island
A brand new bespoke and unique play park in Lurgan.
Slieve Gullion
Just outside of Newry, the Giant’s Lair children's story trail and an Adventure Playpark is perfect for the family.
Tannaghmore Gardens & Animal Farm
Located in Craigavon. The gardens are a popular venue for outings and family visits. The animal farm offers close encounters with many animals traditionally found on farms in Ulster.
Peter Pan's Neverland

A provider of teambuilding days and outdoor activities in Collone.
Co Derry
The Jungle NI
In Moneymore, Magherafelt and is nestled in a woodland among the Sperrin Mountains.
Activities include archery, llama trekking, laser tag and more.
Portstewart Strand
A sandy two-mile long beach in Portstewart with 6,000 year old sand dunes.
The Edge Watersports at The Crannagh Activity Centre
Between Portstewart and Coleraine, activities on offer include waterskiing, wakeboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing.
Limitless Adventure Centre
Located in Limavady. Activities include hovercrafts, powerturn buggies, clay pigeon shooting and football golf.
The Play Trail Park
A unique play and educational facility within the grounds of Ardnashee School & College on the Racecourse Road, Derry.
The Jet Centre
A recreation centre in Coleraine featuring an arcade, bowling, cinema, soft play area and mini golf.
The Lake Kilrea

Exploris Aquarium
An aquarium located in Portaferry which is home to penguins, tropical fish, crocodiles, reptiles, crocodiles, otters and more.
Pickie Park
A family fun park with attractions such as pedal swan boats, playgrounds and mini golf in Bangor.
Delamont Country Park
Located on the shores of Strangford Lough just outside Killyleagh. Has a number of walks on offer along with a large play park and outdoor exercise machines.
Streamvale Farm
Located outside Belfast and features tractor rides, cuddle time with new born rabbits, milking parlour, digger zone, feeding time and more.
Airtastic Entertainment Centre
Located in Bangor and is one of multiple Airtastic centres across the country. Features the I nflata & Ninja Park and a soft play area.
Funtastic
A soft play area located in Carryduff Business Park and suitable for kids up to age 11.
It also features a 'Mayhem Laser Area' and an under-threes area for toddlers.
Dundonald Ice Bowl
A great option to keep the whole family entertained is to go ice skating at Dundonald Ice Bowl.

Aladdin's Kingdom
A soft play and children's party complex with slides and ball pools in Omagh.
Annaginny Park Farm
In Dungannon and has five different fishing lakes for both fly and bait fishing. Provides camping and caravanning facilities which include barbeque facilities and a children's play park.
The park farm has a donkey, horse, wallabies, alpacas, bearded dragons, llamas, owls, emus, rheas, rabbits, deer and more.
Ulster American Folk Park
An open-air museum just outside Omagh.
Davagh Forest Trails
A few miles from Cookstown, Davagh offers gentle mountain biking and walking trails.
