Beyoncé fans have been left 'fuming' after the singer announced dates for her new world tour - but missed off Manchester.
The 'Single Ladies' hitmaker has recently announced her Renaissance tour dates for 2023 and is set to perform at four venues across the UK in May this year, in Sunderland, Cardiff, Edinburgh and London.
They’ll be Beyoncé’s first solo shows on these shores since 2016, when she brought her Formation World Tour to London, Manchester, Glasgow, Sunderland, Cardiff and Dublin, in support of her hit album Lemonade. The singer also toured the UK in 2018 with husband Jay-Z on their co-headline On The Run II shows, which also came to Manchester.

But confused fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the tour announcement, with one comically asking 'have we offended you?.' Many were quick to ask why cities like Manchester and Birmingham had been missed off the list.
@zeemcfccoaching tweeted: "@Beyonce do you hate Manchester?" as @lovxtoagb posted: "How is there no Manchester date @beyonce I’m fuming #RENAISSANCEtour"
@79Medz said: "Beyoncé couldn’t do at least one date in Manchester or Birmingham?!" as @jolaurenx questioned: @Beyonce … hun, what’s your beef with Manchester? Have we offended you in anyway?"
"What did Manchester ever do to Beyoncé not to play here!!!! If you think I’m travelling to Edinburgh your f***ing right!!!" said @chris_royal, as @jessica_ann_00 tweeted: "is beyoncé taking the p*** not going to manchester or birmingham ???"
But they weren't the only fans unhappy, as @WAQA5MAN500R wrote: "Beyoncé is coming to every city in the world except Manchester" and @ethxhope tweeted: "I’ve just clocked that Beyoncé’s only doing London in the UK… no Manchester… Liverpool… She needs to add another date wtf."
@Meeshaliciousx said: "Has Beyonce forgotten about Manchester?? Because aint no way they all the dates... there must be more coming !"
The 2023 tour, produced by Parkwood Entertainment, and promoted by Live Nation, kicks off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm, making stops throughout Europe in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Warsaw and more.
