Fulton County in Georgia is considering seeking a court order to extend polling hours at certain locations affected by non-credible bomb threats until 7:30 p.m. ET. Additionally, two polling places in Cobb County have been granted permission to remain open until 7:20 p.m. ET, while a location in Gwinnett County is expected to request an extension until 8 p.m. ET.
If the polling hours are extended, the deadline for precincts to report results would be pushed back by an hour. However, the majority of precincts are still anticipated to submit results by the original deadline of 7 p.m. ET.
On Tuesday, non-credible bomb threats were reported at several voting locations in the Atlanta area, prompting concerns and potential disruptions to the voting process.
