Full West Ham squad available for Premier League tie vs Liverpool amid centre-back concerns

West Ham United could be without centre-backs Craig Dawson and Kurt Zouma League meeting with Liverpool on Wednesday night.

The Hammers ’ injury list is not too long at the moment, but three of their four concerns are at centre-back, with late calls to be made over both Dawson and Zouma ahead of the Anfield clash.

Dawson missed the 1-1 draw at Southampton on Sunday with a dead leg injury first suffered against Fulham but made worse during the win over Anderlecht last Thursday. Zouma has missed the last two games with illness but has trained ahead of the meeting with Liverpool, with Moyes not confirming whether or not either would feature at Anfield.

Winger Maxwel Cornet will miss out as he continues to recover from a calf injury, although Moyes expects him to return to training this week after missing the last four games.

Other than Cornet, the only known absentee for the clash is £30million summer signing centre-back Nayef Aguerd. Aguerd has not played since July after a pre-season ankle injury that required the Moroccan international to undergo surgery, but he is slowly closing in on a return to full training and is set to be in action before next month’s World Cup.

Speaking to the media last week, Moyes praised Aguerd’s physicality and said he is hoping to increase his involvement this week if he is allowed to do so by the club’s medical staff.

Here is a look at who could feature for the Hammers against Liverpool.
