Full West Ham squad available for Aston Villa clash as Emerson eyes debut

West Ham United could have a near fully-fit squad for their Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.

The Hammers face Steven Gerrard’s side at Villa Park looking for their first points and first goals of the league campaign, having booked their place in the group stages of the Europa Conference League with a 6-1 aggregate victory over Viborg on Thursday night.

Following consecutive Premier League defeats to Manchester City, Nottingham Forest and Brighton and Hove Albion, West Ham go into the tie hoping to build on their big win in Denmark and reverse their Premier League form.

To face Villa, David Moyes has a near full squad available. Captain Declan Rice is back available after missing both legs of the win over Danish side through suspension. Left-back Emerson Palmieri could also be involved to make his debut for the Hammers following his £13million arrival from Chelsea earlier this week.

Vladimir Coufal missed the midweek trip to Denmark due to concussion protocols but is likely to be back in the squad, having been knocked out in the second half of their defeat to Brighton a week ago.

Centre-back Craig Dawson has a chance of returning from a quad injury sustained in pre-season, having missed all five games in all competitions so far this season.

The only known absentee for the meeting with Villa is centre-back Nayef Aguerd, who is not due back to action until mid-October following ankle surgery he underwent in the summer.

Here is a look at who could feature for the Hammers against Viborg.
