Liverpool are gearing up for their next match in the Premier League as they face Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Reds are preparing to face the Seagulls as they go in search of their first win of the new year and try to close the gap on Manchester United in fourth spot.
Jurgen Klopp’s side go into the game in seventh place in the league table. Liverpool were beaten 3-1 at Brentford in their previous league match in a game when the Reds underperformed massively.

In his press conference on Friday, Klopp provided a fitness update on his squad. Long-term absentees Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Arthur Melo remain on the sidelines, while Virgil van Dijk is also unavailable. Roberto Firmino has also had a set back in his recovery from a calf issue.
In more worrying news for Klopp, Darwin Nunez has missed training this week with a hamstring problem and he is a doubt for the game at the AMEX.
