Liverpool will be looking to issue a response to recent poor performances when hosting Ajax in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
Jurgen Klopp's side were humiliated in their group stage opener away at Napoli last week, having been outclassed in every department by the Serie A side. The Reds were denied the chance to bounce back from this display at the weekend after seeing their Anfield clash with Wolves postponed due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Arthur Melo could be handed a first start for the club after a late cameo appearance in Naples, meanwhile Kostas Tsimikas is also in line to feature from the off following an injury to Andy Robertson. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Calvin Ramsay, Caoimhin Kelleher, Curtis Jones, Ibrahima Konate, Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita remain sidelined.

Issuing an update on his squad during a press conference yesterday afternoon, Klopp said: "[Robertson is] injured. Robbo now is not 100 per cent, it was very late, in the 93rd minute or whatever, he actually felt it the next day only, but yes he is out and he is out at least until after the international break,"
"Curtis Jones is not available and Fabio Carvalho trained yesterday as normal and will be available."
