Liverpool are just 90 minutes away from their third Champions League final in just five years as they take on Villarreal in the second leg of their semi-final with a 2-0 lead. Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane scored second half goals to ensure the Reds went to Spain with an advantage.
The Reds are on a great run of form and continued their pursuit of the Premier League title with a 1-0 win over Newcastle on Saturday lunchtime with a much-changed side deployed by Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp confirmed on Monday that he will be without the services of Roberto Firmino for the semi-final. The forward has not featured for Liverpool since the FA Cup win over Manchester City at Wembley mid-April as he continues to struggle with a foot injury.

Klopp said Firmino will travel to Spain with the squad, hinting at his involvement in Saturday's clash in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.
"Bobby is now running, so it is all good. It is very painful, he has a little pain on the bone in the middle of the foot. It is very painful, but he is running. He will travel with us, but he will not be involved in the squad yet," said Klopp.
"We hope [he is back] sooner rather than later. We had issues with stomach bugs too and they are all back. Villarreal will go with all they have that is absolutely clear, from the things Unai Emery said after the game."
