Liverpool are busy preparing for their Champions League clash against Ajax tonight.
The Reds are currently in second place in Group A, and need just to avoid defeat at the Johan Cruyff ArenA to qualify for the knockout stages. Jurgen Klopp’s side have nine points from their opening four fixtures, and claimed a 2-1 win over Ajax in the reverse fixture last month.
Klopp spoke to the media on Tuesday evening, as he provided an injury update on his squad. The German explained both the positives and the negatives in terms of his squad selection.

Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate are set to be involved in Amsterdam this evening, after missing the trip to Nottingham Forest at the weekend. However, Thiago Alcantara is still ruled out after suffering from an ear infection.
There will be no Naby Keita or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain involved tonight, despite the pair recently returning to training. Both players were not included in the 25-man squad last month, and cannot feature in the group stage.
Joel Matip, Luis Diaz, Arthur Melo and Diogo Jota all remain out with longer-term injury concerns.
Here is a look at the expected Liverpool matchday squad for tonight’s clash against Ajax, barring any late changes.
Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Adrian, Caoimhin Kelleher.
Defenders: Andy Robertson, Calvin Ramsay, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas, Nat Phillips, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Luke Chambers.
Midfielders: Fabinho, Fabio Carvalho, Harvey Elliott, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Curtis Jones, Stefan Bajcetic, Melkamu Frauendorf.
