Schools across Greater Manchester will close today after heavy snowfall across the region.
Oldham and Rochdale are thought to be worst affected by the weather conditions, with Oldham announcing over 40 school closures this morning due to adverse weather conditions. Multiple schools in Bury have also said they will not open today.

Light snow showers are expected to continue across Greater Manchester this morning with a Met Office amber snow warning for parts of Greater Manchester and across the Pennines remaining in place until 12pm today.
