The Miami Dolphins will begin their 2024 rookie minicamp on a hot Friday in South Florida with more than 40 players aiming to impress coaches.
Just 19 of those players — the Dolphins’ seven draft picks and the 12 undrafted rookies they signed Friday — are currently set to have a spot on the team’s roster after Sunday. Another 27 players, including one NFL veteran trying to work his way back into the league, are just in Miami on a tryout basis.
Here is the full list of players participating in the camp, organized alphabetically by last name and including their assigned jersey number for the weekend:
No. 75: Bradley Ashmore, OL, Vanderbilt (tryout)
The 6’6, 304-pound lineman was a team captain for the Commodores where he played right tackle for three seasons and right guard in 2022.
No. 98: Tyler Bentley, DT, Pittsburgh (tryout)
Listed at 6’2, 285 pounds, Bentley recorded 10.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in his collegiate career.
No. 97: Quentin Bivens, DT, Southern Miss (tryout)
The former Ole Miss defensive tackle played the last two seasons at Southern Miss where he recorded five sacks.
No. 69: Ireland Brown, C, Rutgers (tryout)
A former defensive lineman, Brown made the move to the offensive side of the ball in 2021 as a sophomore.
No. 42: Je'Quan Burton, WR, Florida Atlantic
The 5’9, 177-pound receiver finished his collegiate career with 1,277 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
No. 88: Jaelin Campbell, WR, Incarnate Word (tryout)
Campbell recorded 111 receptions, 1,683 yards, and 14 touchdowns in 54 career games at Incarnate Word.
No. 58: Geoffrey Cantin-arku, LB, Memphis (tryout)
The Canadian linebacker is 6’3, 230 pounds and received an All-AAC honorable mention in 2023 while at Memphis.
No. 34: Jordan Colbert, S, Rhode Island
The Rhode Island strong safety is 6’2, 214 pounds who reportedly recorded a 39.5-inch vertical at his pro day.
No. 68: Nick Correia, OL, Rhode Island (tryout)
Listed at 6’5, 310 pounds, Correia made 48 consecutive starts at right guard for URI.
No. 36: Storm Duck, CB, Louisville
The 6’0, 195-pound cornerback received Second Team All-ACC honors in 2022 while he was with North Carolina.
No. 24: Samson Evans, RB, Eastern Michigan (tryout)
Evans had 27 rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns in his last two seasons at EMU.
No. 20: Tywan Francis, S, Temple (tryout)
Francis was Mohamed Kamara’s former teammate at Colorado State before transferring to Temple where he recorded two interceptions and five pass deflections.
No. 67: Aaron Frost, OL, Arizona State (tryout)
After playing tackle and guard at Nevada, Frost transferred to ASU in 2023 and made starts at both left guard and right guard.
No. 64: Jonathan Graham, OL, Liberty (tryout)
Graham played tackle early in his career at Liberty before settling in as a starter at guard in the last two seasons.
No. 16: Gavin Hardison, QB, UTEP
The 6’2, 206-pound quarterback had his final season with the Miners cut short by an injury that required Tommy John surgery.
No. 51: Jamoi Hodge, LB, TCU (tryout)
Hodge earned an All-Big 12 honorable mention in each of his last two seasons with the Horned Frogs.
No. 37: Isaiah Johnson, DB, Syracuse
The 6’3, 205-pound defensive back could potentially transition to safety in the NFL, but is listed as a cornerback for now.
No. 62: Matthew Jones, OL, Ohio State
The 6’3, 316-pound lineman spent most of his time with the Buckeyes at guard, but slid over to center for his final game.
No. 50: Mohamed Kamara, EDGE, Colorado
Kamara earned Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year honors in his final season at Colorado State and was a fifth-round pick for the Dolphins.
No. 94: Mario Kendricks, DL, Virginia Tech (tryout)
The 6’0, 293-pound lineman put up impressive testing numbers and is reportedly set to attend the Chiefs’ rookie minicamp too.
No. 48: Lee Kpogba, LB, West Virginia (tryout)
After beginning his collegiate career at Syracuse, Kpogba made a brief stop at East Mississippi Community College of Last Chance U fame before landing at West Virginia in 2022.
No. 9: Micah Leon, QB, Florida (tryout)
The 6’5, 225-pound quarterback appeared in only two collegiate games — one with the Gators and one with UConn.
No. 56: Aaron Lynch, LB, South Florida (tryout)
Lynch is the only NFL veteran participating in the Dolphins’ rookie minicamp. The former 49ers, Bears, and Jaguars pass rusher hasn’t played a game since 2020.
No. 33: Jason Maitre, CB, Wisconsin (tryout)
The 5’10, 181-pound cornerback played at nickel with the Badgers after transferring from Boston College.
No. 79: Bayron Matos, OT, South Florida
Matos is a Dominican Republic native who played basketball at New Mexico and South Florida before walking on to the USF football team.
No. 57: Trezmen Marshall, LB, Alabama (tryout)
Marshall played most of his collegiate career at Georgia before transferring to play one season for Alabama.
No. 32: Patrick McMorris, S, Cal
McMorris was a two-time All-Mountain West selection at San Diego State before finishing his collegiate career with one year at Cal. He was the Dolphins’ second sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
No. 60: Andrew Meyer, OL, UTEP
The 6’3, 295-pound former UTEP offensive lineman played center for the team for four seasons.
No. 27: Tre Morrison, CB, Wingate (tryout)
Morrison, a 6’0, 180-pound corner, recorded nine interceptions, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 57 passes defended in his career at Wingate.
No. 59: Grayson Murphy, DL, UCLA
The 6’2, 249-pound defensive lineman transferred from North Texas and recorded 18 tackles for loss and 10 sacks in two seasons at UCLA.
No. 53: Alex Nobles, LB, Florida International (tryout)
After spending a few seasons as a backup at North Carolina, Nobles transferred to FIU and was a two-year starter.
No. 52: Patrick Paul, OT, Houston
Paul was a two-time All-AAC selection at Houston and then earned All-Big 12 honors in 2023 when the team swapped conferences. The Dolphins selected him in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft.
No. 78: Leonard Payne, DL, Colorado
The 6’3, 301-pound former Fresno State lineman joined Colorado in 2023 and recorded three sacks with a forced fumble.
No. 38: Mark Perry, S, TCU
The 6’0, 213-pound safety received an All-Big 12 honorable mention in 2023 and reportedly ran a 4.37 40-yard dash.
No. 44: Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
Robinson was selected by the Dolphins in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft after earning All-Big Ten honors last season.
No. 49: Hayden Rucci, TE, Wisconsin
Rucci spent the majority of his career as a blocking tight end and was credited by PFF with allowing only two pressures on 180 pass blocking snaps in 2023.
No. 91: Jalen Sami, DT, Michigan State (tryout)
The defensive tackle was listed by the Spartans at a massive 6’7, 330 pounds, but is listed by the Dolphins at 6’4, 333 pounds. He spent the first five seasons of his collegiate career at Colorado.
No. 89: Jordan Smith, TE, Temple (tryout)
The 6’4, 237-pound tight end caught eight touchdowns in his last two seasons with the Owls.
No. 86: Kahtero Summers, WR, Rhode Island (tryout)
Summers began at Saint Francis and caught 12 touchdown passes in two seasons after transferring to Rhode Island.
No. 61: Andrew Theobald, OT, Northwest Missouri State (tryout)
Theobald, listed at 6’5, 312 pounds, was a left tackle for the Bearcats.
No. 43: Noah Tumblin, CB, San Diego State (tryout)
Tumblin is a 6’1, 182-pound corner who earned All-Mountain West honors in 2023.
No. 83: Malik Washington, WR, Virginia
Washington led the FBS in receptions during the 2023 season and was selected by the Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft.
No. 82: Tahj Washington, WR, USC
Washington led the Trojans in receptions and receiving yards as Caleb Williams’ favorite target in 2023. The Dolphins selected Washington in the seventh-round of the 2024 NFL draft.
No. 30: La'Damian Webb, RB, South Alabama (tryout)
The former Florida State running back was a two-time All-Sun Belt selection at South Alabama.
No. 47: Marquis Wilson, CB, Purdue (tryout)
The former Penn State cornerback recorded six pass defenses in his only season with the Boilermakers.
No. 25: Jaylen Wright, RB, Tennessee
The Dolphins traded a 2025 third-round pick to the Eagles to acquire a 2024 fourth-round selection to take Wright.
