A number of schools across the North East are set to close on Thursday as teachers go on strike.
The industrial action comes as a dispute continues with the Government over pay. Members of the National Education Union (NEU) went on strike earlier this year with walkouts in February and March.
Further strikes have been announced for this Thursday, April 27, and Tuesday, May 2. Some schools in the North East have already announced how they will be affected this week.
