The summer transfer window is upon us and Arsenal have been busy. A number of deals are being worked on in the last ten days as part of Mikel Arteta' plans to ensure last season’s progress doesn't go to waste.
The Gunners had on their best campaign under Arteta's leadership. After spending the majority of the year as Premier League league leaders, the north Londoners fell short on the final hurdle to Manchester City, settling for second place.
football.london understands West Ham captain Declan Rice is the priority for Arsenal. Two bids have already been turned down for the England international and a following offer is expected to be made in the coming days. There have also been moves for Jurrien Timber, Kai Havertz and Romeo Lavia.
Yet there remains plenty of business to be done in regards to players leaving the club. Much has been made of the number of individuals facing the exit door this summer. Two of Arteta's key players from last season, Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey, are both set for a move away from north London, with those potential exits questioned by supporters.
Along with Champions League football returning to the Emirates Stadium next season, Arsenal's squad is going to look very different. Here, football.london has the full list of Arsenal players either sold, on their way out the door or linked with a move.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (24) - Ended the season injured but has been linked with a move away in the past, with Juventus linked earlier this year.
