If you claim a benefit from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), you may receive a Christmas bonus this December.
Those who qualify for the one-off boost will get an additional £10 in their bank at the start of the month. The money will be issued automatically and so there is no need to apply.
As reported by The Mirror, in order to be eligible, you must have received certain benefits in the "qualifying week", which is usually the first week of December.

If you have not received the money by December and believe you should have, then you should reach out to either Jobcentre Plus or the Pension Service if you receive a State Pension.
Additionally, if you are in a married couple, in a civil partnership, or live with your partner, while receiving one of the qualifying benefits, then you will also receive the bonus money.
