Full list of DWP benefits being paid early due to Queen's state funeral

People who were due to receive benefits and credits on Monday, the day of The Queen's state funeral, will be paid early. The Department of Work and Pension listed the payments that will instead be paid today (Friday, September 16).

It said benefits and credits will be paid today which is the last working day before the bank holiday on Monday, September 19. This arrangement follows standard DWP and HMRC protocol that sees benefit and credit payment dates brought forward in line with national bank holidays.

The Department for Work and Pensions and HM Revenue and Customs said arrangements had been put in place to ensure all benefits and credits due to be paid on Monday will be delivered in advance. People who are due to receive payments on Mondaywill instead be paid on Friday, the last working day before the State Funeral.

Monday is a national bank holiday to allow as many people as possible to watch the Queen’s funeral, which is due to start at 11am in Westminster Abbey and will be televised. To pay your own tribute to Queen Elizabeth, click here.
