We have a few more bright summer evenings to enjoy before the autumn weather creeps in.

A number of tourist spots in Dublin are set to remain open until as late as 10pm this August so you can make most of the fabulous weather. If you're looking to take the kids out during a week night or have a late-night date planned, these popular attractions are just perfect for you.

With so many places offering late-night openings, you don't have to wait until the weekend to have an exciting time.

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum

Open Late: Thursday until 8:00pm

EPIC brings Irish history to life and allows visitors to discover what it really means to be Irish. The museum has been voted Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction for the past three years. You can buy your tickets here.

National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology (Free Admission)

Open Late: Thursday until 8pm

The National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology is very popular with history buffs thanks to its extensive archaeological collections.

National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History (Free Admission)

Open Late: Thursday until 8:00pm

The National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks is home to wide-range of historical items furniture, ceramics, silver, weaponry, sand glassware, as well as examples of folk life and costume.

Irish Whiskey Museum

Open Late: Friday and Saturday until 10.00pm

Whiskey lovers will love the guided tours on the history of Irish whiskey. They also offer interactive tastings! You can book your tickets here.

The National Wax Museum Plus

Open Late: Everyday until 7:00pm

The Chester Beatty Library (Free Admission)

Open Late: Wednesday until 8:00pm

One of our favourite places in Dublin is the Chester Beatty Library which is home to manuscripts, rare books, and other treasures from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.

Christ Church Cathedral

Open Late: Monday - Saturday until 7:00pm

Standing at the heart of Dublin for over 1000 years, Christ Church Cathedral is one of the most historic and sacred places in Ireland. Admire the stained glass windows, delve into the crypt below or climb into the belfry to view the famous bells. You can book your tickets here.

Roe and Co Distillery

Open Late: Thursday - Saturday until 8:00pm

Located in the historic Liberties area of Dublin, Roe and Co Distillery is the home of cocktail exploration and modern Irish whiskey. You can book your tickets here.

Jameson Distillery

Open Late: Thursday & Friday until 7:00pm

Open Late: Thursday - Saturday until 8:00pm

National Library of Ireland (Free Admission)

Open Late: Tuesday & Wednesday until 7:00pm

The National Library of Ireland boasts the most comprehensive collection of Irish documentary material in the world. It is also home to a number of exciting exhibitions including ‘Ireland on the Box' - a collection of photographs showing 60 years of television in Ireland.
