With more and more people opting for online banking, high street branches are continuing to disappear.
Banks across the country, from Royal Bank of Scotland to Barclays, have announced upcoming closures throughout the year, with a total of 5,355 bank branches and building societies already closing their doors since 2015, according to Which?.
Whether it be simply checking your balance, transferring money or even remortgaging, you can do it all from your phone now as many opt to deal with finances from the comfort of their own home. However, you may still prefer to book an appointment in branch - something that is becoming increasingly difficult.
