A number of road closures and roadworks will be in place across the North East this week.
While some roads are fully closed, other roads have lane closures and temporary traffic measures in place affecting some of the region's busiest routes. Drivers are advised to plan ahead for the closures and alter travel arrangements if necessary.
Diversions may also be in place on various roads, so travellers should check if any of these roadworks are likely to disrupt their journeys. These road closures are for the week starting from April 17.
