Full Leeds United squad revealed for Aston Villa clash after key Whites injury

Crysencio Summerville will not be travelling with Leeds United to Villa Park tonight after Jesse Marsch revealed yesterday that he'll be out for more than a month with an ankle injury he suffered against Cardiff City.

The Whites will face Villa for the second time this season, the first being the reverse fixture at Elland Road that finished in a 0-0 draw. Both of Leeds' results since the New Year have been 2-2 draws, but it's expected this clash should go one way or another.

Unai Emery's side took a huge confidence blow when they lost 2-1 to League Two opposition Stevenage in the F.A Cup third-round but are looking for their second win of the year following a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur before that.

Marsch will have January signing Max Wober available after he made his debut against the Bluebirds, but could be swapped in to start over either Robin Koch or Liam Cooper who have started all three games since the return from the winter break.

It's practically a full midfield for Marsch to use as well, with Tyler Adams and Marc Roca the likely starters over both Sam Greenwood and Darko Gyabi who started alongside each other against Cardiff last weekend.

Going forward, Jack Harrison could be an option to replace Summerville while Wilfried Gnonto has impressed in recent weeks.

The only players missing, on top of the Dutchman, are ones that have been for a while now. Patrick Bamford and Luis Sinisterra are making good strides to return quickly but Stuart Dallas and Archie Gray are both still nursing long-term injuries that have kept them out all season long so far.

Full Leeds United squad to face Aston Villa: Illan Meslier, Joel Robles, Luke Ayling, Pascal Struijk, Junior Firpo, Rasmus Kristensen, Diego Llorente, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper, Max Wober, Marc Roca, Tyler Adams, Darko Gyabi, Sam Greenwood, Brenden Aaronson, Wilfried Gnonto, Jack Harrison, Joe Gelhardt, Rodrigo.
