Luis Sinisterra's second-half strike ensured Leeds United's impressive start to the campaign continued with just one defeat from their opening five games. Jesse Marsch's side are currently sat in the European places after a solid start to the Premier League campaign.
The Colombian scored a second-half equaliser on his full Premier League debut to share the spoils with Frank Lampard's Everton, with the Toffees still looking for their first win of the season. Marsch gave his verdict of the game with reports after the final whistle.
He also revealed Rodrigo had dislocated his shoulder in the tie.

Full Jesse Marsch transcript from the draw against Everton:
It was entertaining from the stands, how was it from your point of view?
Jesse Marsch : "Well, I thought it was less entertaining than it could have been because Everton played the game to slow things down, which can be an intelligent tactic, right, coming here to Elland road and trying to keep things a little bit quieter but thought the referee could have handled it better.
"It was clear from the first minute they were kicking balls away and they were trying to delay so I'm pleased with our team. It was not easy when we went down a goal against Everton - they can make your life a lot worse.
"But I saw a team that was smart and pushed and asserted themselves more and more in the match in the right way and in the end did really well to get the equaliser and then, you know, I mean, could we get the second goal?
"Could we suffer the second goal, it could have gone both ways at that point. But in general, I think it was a step forward for our team."
Did your team stick to the plan?
JM: "Yeah, for sure. It's just when you play against a team that man marks it's not easy to come up with solutions and we needed to be just be smarter of how to how to handle it.
"But the guys are always trying their best to figure out ways to win matches and I'm trying to help educate them more and more as to what we want to look like in every moment and they're progressing and that was, for sure, the case tonight."
You gave Luis Sinisterra his first Premier League start and he repaid you tonight?
JM: "Yeah, I mean, it's not about repaying me. It's about his ability, he will show more and more his ability, right.
"He's a special player, and he has a special combination of athleticism and power with football and cleverness, and then finishing ability so I think it's just - it's obviously I'm really happy for him to get on the scoring sheet and I think he's only going to get better."
On Rodrigo, how is he?
JM: "Yeah, it's a dislocated shoulder and I've never had that but obviously, you know, you can see that it's very painful. They popped it back in, and he seems to be feeling okay. But we'll get a scan and then we'll figure out exactly what the damage is."
Does that show how fragile the frontline is?
JM: "A little bit, but Joffy came in and did really well, really well, was really happy with him. And then it wasn't easy to make the decision to take him off the pitch and put Patrick on but I just felt like that was what we needed at the moment.
"Maybe I should have left Joffy on and give him a couple more sniffs set the goal but you know, I was really happy with how Joffy played and I thought Pat came on and played well as well."
Does it show you need additions there?
JM: "Everybody's trying the best that they can. I can only say thank you to Andrea and Victor and Angus and everybody. We're trying to find ways to continue to improve our squad but we also have done a great job and you can see we have a good team.
"Right? I'm really, really happy with the progress we're making. We have so much more to do but man we like our team a lot. I really like our team"
Patrick Bamford, good to see him back?
JM: "Yeah, no, I thought he was good. Yeah, I thought he had a couple moments where he could have maybe been able to nick a goal but in general he looks sharp and I thought he held up some balls well and and yeah, was dangerous."
You said last week, whether you will bring in a new striker or depending on how things play out. Does the Rodrigo injury influence you?
JM: "Not so much. But obviously that's been a goal of ours from from the start of the summer. Right. So, again, we've been active and we're trying everything we can and we'll see how it plays out here over the next 24 hours or so."
Will you be disappointed if you can't get one in?
JM : "I like our team. You know, obviously I've said this a few times already in a press conference - good players make good coaches, the more good players that you can find then you can really enjoy the team but I think we've done a really good job already.
"And I really like our group. What I hate more than anything is when people say my transfers, like Marsch's transfers. These are not my transfers, they're our transfers. And everybody's working diligently together to try to put the club in a position to succeed like we already have. So that's the goal here is to just find a way to see if there's maybe one more opportunity out there."
There's been speculation over the last few days about the future of Dan James, is there any chance at all that he could leave before Thursday's deadline or is he very much an important part?
JM: "I like Dan. I think he's he's been a big part of what we've done here. Before, I came and since I've been here. I don't anticipate big movements in the group. But let's, you know, we have to just see what happens in the next 24 hours."
How long until Bamford can start?
JM: "Yeah, hopefully Saturday. But I think he's in good shape. He feels good. So I think him starting on Saturday is a serious possibility. And then I think Joffy played well as well so we can consider that as well."
Is Hwang Hee-chan a player of interest?
JM: "I know Hee-chan very well. I like Hee-chan. He knows our football. So there has been that, he's on our list. I can tell you that he's been on our list from the beginning."
Everton played a low block, what else could you have done to get round that?
JM: "Well, what we changed a little bit in the second half was, we were more vertical to probe through the middle more and not just to get the ball wide and I thought that was more effective in terms of us pushing the game and pushing them back more.
"In a way that was how we got the goal but that requires them to be brave and to be also ready to counter press and with the way we play. They shouldn't be too worried about losing balls in the middle.
"Obviously we have some tactics and movements of how we want to play in those situations. But if they know that we're going to counter press and be very effective in that tactic, then that can also be an effective way to break a team that is actually losing the ball winning it back.
"Right away where that where the opponent is relaxed and then finding a way to attack them again. So I thought that our balance of playing wide and stealing trying to play in the middle of the second half was better."
It was quite a feisty match, there were a few flashpoints.
JM: "I mean, we I feel like you know, trying to stay calm. The games are so emotional and good. And the margin of error is so thin that obviously everybody's fully invested from both both clubs from both fan bases from every perspective. It's what makes the league so great."
Joe Gelhardt changed the game, how difficult was that decision because it seemed you didn't have a shot after he went off?
JM: "I felt like getting Patrick in the game was important. And then I was we were debating do we use Joffy a little bit deeper?
"Do we play with two strikers, but we thought a lot of the tactics of that time were effective. And yeah, again, I look at that, and I want Joffy - he had one big chance, right?
"And maybe if he finishes that then, but I was trying to also figure out a way because I thought Patrick could make a play. So yeah, I'll look at that and figure out how to how to continue to use our guys the right way."
