The first televised game in the fourth round will be the all-Premier League tie between high-flyers Manchester City and Arsenal. The match at the Etihad Stadium has been moved to Friday January 27, and will be shown live on ITV1.

Preston North End host Tottenham (6pm, BBC One) and Manchester United take on Reading (8pm, ITV4) are the televised games on Saturday January 28. Holders Liverpool will be televised as they continue their defence of the trophy, with their trip to Brighton live on ITV1 on Sunday January 29.

The Sunday will also see giant-killers Wrexham in action against Sheffield United, with BBC One screening the game at 4.30pm. On Monday January 30, Derby County v West Ham United will round off the live coverage on ITV4.

“We wanted to go to the next round and we knew already Brighton was the opponent," Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said after the Wolves win. "My job is not to be big-mouthed but the idea is when we go there, that we try to play better than last time.

“This was a reaction we needed to show. The game was much better and different to the last one. We were compact, we were together and when we got the ball, we played exceptional football.”

Liverpool were beaten 3-0 at Brighton in the league, with Solly March scoring twice and Danny Welbeck adding a third, while the Anfield meeting ended 3-3. Brighton won their third round game at the first attempt, putting five goals past Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
