A "full emergency" was declared after smoke emerged from the wheel of a Ryanair plane which had just landed.
The flight was travelling today from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Dublin Airport. Emergency services attended the scene after Ryanair flight FR5542 landed in Dublin.
A spokesperson for Dublin Airport said a "full emergency" was declared this afternoon. There were no reports of injuries and passengers left the plane as normal.
In a statement on Twitter, they said: "2A Full Emergency was declared @DublinAirport this afternoon following the arrival of @Ryanair flight FR5542 from @LPL_Airport. Passengers disembarked the aircraft normally.
"Air traffic flows into Dublin Airport were restricted during the incident."
Sister title DublinLive said after passengers disembarked from the plane, buses took them to the airport. It is understood there was debris from the incident left on the runway.
The South runway at the airport will also remain closed for the evening.
