Chelsea will be aiming to secure back-to-back victories when they travel to Manchester United on Thursday evening. The Blues beat West Ham on Sunday to all but guarantee a top four finish thanks to Christian Pulisic’s 90th minute winner.
The west London club side are seven points clear of fifth placed Tottenham with a game in hand, and as such have little to play for in the league. However, Thomas Tuchel will be keen to build momentum and confidence ahead of next month’s FA Cup final meeting with Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Man United’s hopes of playing Champions League football next season are all but over after back-to-back defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal respectively. Nevertheless, they will be keen to finish in the top six and secure European football, but there’s still work to be done on that front with West Ham and Wolves in close proximity.
