Leeds United welcome Chelsea to Elland Road on Sunday with both teams looking to keep their unbeaten records intact.
Like Leeds, Chelsea have accumulated four points from their opening two fixtures, drawing with Tottenham Hotspur in controversial fashion last weekend. Manager Thomas Tuchel was sent off immediately after the final whistle after clashing with Antonio Conte, but Tuchel will be on the Elland Road touchline as his one game ban has been suspended.
Up against a team they haven't beaten in 20 years, it promises to be a tough afternoon for Leeds, although Chelsea do have a number of absentees. Here's a look at Chelsea's full injury list ahead of Sunday's clash.
Mateo Kovacic
The first of two key midfielders ruled out of the fixture, Kovacic will miss the game against Leeds with a slight knee issue.
Tuchel said: "(Kovacic) has issues with his knee, always a little bit of a reaction. We decided to take a step back and increase treatment time to reduce the stress that comes from training to have a normal reaction before we start again."
N'Golo Kante
Energetic midfielder Kante has been ruled out of the clash at Elland Road with a hamstring problem, which forced him off the in draw against Tottenham.
“(It's) quite serious," said Tuchel. "We’re talking about weeks. So not good news. We are disappointed and sad because N’Golo was super important and was super fit. He will be out for several weeks."
Christian Pulisic
A player linked with a move away from Chelsea, with Manchester United reportedly among those interested, Pulisic is a doubt with an Achilles injury. However, the winger did train on Friday. The American scored in Chelsea's 3-0 win at Elland Road last season.
Armando Broja
A minor injury will keep Broja out of the game in Yorkshire. The striker, who spent last season on loan at Southampton, featured against Tottenham last week.
"Armando (Broja) will be out for days and cannot come with us to Leeds," said Tuchel.
Marcos Alonso
Alonso is not an injury concern, but Tuchel has ruled him out of Sunday's game. The experienced wing-back is not training with the Blues as he looks to complete a transfer to Barcelona.
