Manchester United booked themselves a place in the next round of the EFL Cup on Thursday and victory at Fulham on Sunday would mean they are right in the hunt for a top-four Premier League spot going into the World Cup break.
United are odds-on 5/6 chances with Betfred to go into the break on a high and bounce back from last weekend's shambles of a performance at Villa Park while Fulham are 13/5 to bag a win that would put them within a point of Erik ten Hag's side in the Premier League table.
United have come away with maximum points on their last five trips to Craven Cottage but the 2022 edition of this fixture looks fraught with danger because Fulham are a side outperforming expectations this season.
Marco Silva's side have lost just one of their last five Premier League matches and it could easily be argued that they were unfortunate not to come away from the Etihad last weekend with a point given the harsh nature of the penalty decision that went against them in injury time.
And Fulham have been strong at the Cottage this term. Newcastle are the only side to come away from west London with three points but that game was heavily influenced by the early sending off of Nathaniel Chalobah.
Defensively though, they can be got at, and this is where United are going to have joy. Fulham have conceded 11 goals at home this term which is more than any side outside the bottom three and, although they have not conceded in either of their last two home games, both Everton and Villa had big chances.

Goals look the order of the day here. There have been an average of almost 3.5 goals in Fulham's home games this season while United have scored at least once in every away game they have played since that fateful day at Brentford in August.
However, Over 2.5 goals is short at 4/7 while Both Teams to Score (yes) is the same price. The best way into this is to combine a United win with both teams to score, which is a very appealing 9/4 chance with Betfred.
