Raul Jimenez scored twice from the spot as Fulham held Ipswich Town to a 2-2 draw in the Premier League on Sunday, extending the hosts’ unbeaten streak to eight league matches.
Both teams converted penalties within two minutes as Jimenez cancelled out Sammie Szmodics’ first-half strike in the 69th minute, before Liam Delap restored the visitors’ lead after Timothy Castagne brought him down.
But Jimenez got a second crack at restoring parity when Leif Davis fouled him in the 90th minute, denying 18th-placed Ipswich a chance to climb out of the relegation zone for the first time since November.
Fulham, who are unbeaten since November, remained ninth with 30 points while Ipswich moved to 16, equal with 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers who have played a game less.

Fulham vs Ipswich Town
16:09A game that threatened to limp along aimlessly in the fisrt half hour, ended up being a very good advert for the Premier League. The goal in the first half from Ipswich's Szmodics jolted Fulham into life, but the home side struggled to get too many clear cut opportunities and went in at half-time behind. McKenna's charges came out in the second period and looked to stifle their London opponents once more but eventually relented to the Fulham pressure via the strange decision from midfield captain Morsy who trod on the heel of Wilson as he advanced into the Ipswich box. The referee was tasked with confirming the suspicions from the VAR team and after checking the monitor, awarded the spot kick. Jimenez dispatched to level it up. Fulham were seemingly still celebrating when Delap went down the other end and earned himself a penalty, the second one in succesive games. He dusted himself off to bury it into the opposite corner of Leno's flailing dive. The away side could not hold on though as the third penalty of the match was awarded when Davis was fooled by a bit of skill inside the Ipswich area. Jimenez flicked the ball past Davis with the outside of his right boot and was happy to receive the contact from the left-back. The referee pointed straight to the spot and Jimenez hit his eighth goal of this Premier League season to make it 2-2. He is into double figures for goal contributions now. Ipswich will be annoyed to concede so late, especially given that it would have taken them out of the bottom three. They are now on 16 points, level with Wolves who play tomorrow. Fulham are unbeaten in eight now, but stay in ninth on 30 points. Thank you for joining us for our coverage this afternoon and goodbye.

15:57MUNIZ EFFORT SAVED!! There is a moment of pinball in the Ipswich area, the ball rolls out to Miuniz, who despite facing a tight angle, decides to take a shot on goal, but Walton falls onto the low shot and holds on tightly. That will be the final action you feel.

15:48IPSWICH HIT THE POST!!! Clarke slams the foot of the post after a brilliant low skimming shot from just outside the area on the left. It rebounds out to safety.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:47Collectors item from Robinson, who horribly slices his cross from the left after combining with Smith Rowe. He is usually so reliable in those positions. It goes behind for a goal kick. Ipswich will take their time.

15:43HIGH AND WIDE FROM DAVIS!! Davis sprints down the Ipswich left onto a swiveled pass from midfield, but he can't keep the effort down as he approaches the left angle of the area and it is fired high and wide off the outside of his boot.

15:39JIMENEZ JUST WIDE!! That was close from Jimenez who sees his flicked header fly just wide of the left post after the free kick was curled in from the Fulham left. He got in front of his man but could not hit the target.

15:36Ipswich's tails are up and they are contesting every ball now, pressing hard in the Fulham half in an attempt to stop any momentum.

15:35Andersen buffets Delap from behind as the striker protects the ball well just inside the Fulham half. Very reminiscent of Alan Shearer who used to do that so well back in the day.

15:26VAR is checking for a penalty to Fulham. Wilson was moving into the Ipswich box when Morsy seemed to clip his heels. The on field official is being asked to go to the monitor to have a look. Penalty given!!
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:25BROADHEAD EFFORT SAVED!! aA long ball from back to front is contested by Delap, it drops invitingly for Broadhead who shaped beautifully to shoot and hit his righ foot volley low and hard, but Leno saved to his left with a strong hand away.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:23CHANCE FOR SMITH ROWE!! The substitute got that all wrong. Iwobi scooped a ball in from the right that got all the way to the far post. Smith Rowe had crept goal side of his defender and flung himself for a diving header attempt but it was way wide of the left post. He seeemd to get his bearings wrong there.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:22A free kick in a dangerous area on the left corner of the area for Fulham. Wilson picks the ball up and Smith Rowe is also there and the home side flood the box. The ball comes in and is headed out by Delap.

15:19WILD FROM IWOBI!! Good play from Jimenez down the right who slips in Smith Rowe to his left, it goes all the way across via Wilson to Iwobi, a couple of feints are thrown to create a yard, but then Iwobi lashes a wild shot that goes high and wide of the left post.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:17A sumptuous ball from Robinson who checks onto his right foot on the left flank and delivers into the box is met by Greaves who is alive to the impending danger. The corner is massively overhit and draws groans from the Fulham faithful.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:16So far, Ipswich doing well to quell the threat from the home side. It is not exactly a siege on the Ipswich goal at this point, but there is surely going to be more to do as the game goes on.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:14A long ball searches out Robinson who rapidly approaches the Ipswich box. Walton is alert and comes to receive the bouncing ball. Momentum carry his feet outside the box but his hands on the ball remain just inside the box much to the dismay of the home fans.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:12Smith Rowe's first real involvement is to pick his head up and swing a ball in from the left, but it is far to close and drifts into the palms of Walton.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:11Lovely innovative play from Iwobi who scoops a deft little ball up and between two Ipswich players to give Cairney some space, but the Fulham midfielder is caught in about three minds and his shimmying comes to nothing as Ipswich clear.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:09WIDE FROM SZMODICS!! That was a half chance there for Szmodics to make it two. Broadhead pushed a low ball with his side foot into the box from the left, Szmodics had held his run and swung a left foot at the ball from just inside the area central. Bassey just does enough to put him off with some pressure and Szmodics skews his effort well wide of the right of the frame of the goal.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
15:06Fulham are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games. The last time they enjoyed a better run was back in 2008/09. That particular run ended in defeat on the first game of the year, losing 1-3 to West Ham. Will the same happen today?

Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:59For large periods in that first half, Ipswich appeared toothless in attack, but just as they did against Chelsea, they have taken their chance when it has come along. They have achieved an xG in that first period of 0.39. Fulham, despite their dominance with the ball, have not faired much better with an xG of 0.46. They do have some players on the bench who you could put in the 'game-changers' category, so this one is far from over. Muniz, Smith Rowe and Traore are all capable of useful contributions and could be called upon to do just that. Fulham's live win probability is down to 23.3%. Ipswich's has rocketed to 46.9%.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:55Fulham made all of the early play in terms of controlled possession, but Kieran McKenna would have been pleased to see his Ipswich team limit the London side's opportunities. He will have been even more pleased to then see his charges somehow take the lead on 38 minutes, massively against the run of play. Szmodics, brought into the side today, rewarded his boss' faith by making no mistake when presented with a chance to score after Johnson, the other change for today's game very nearly registered himself at the far post. Fulham tried to get back on terms in the closing stages, but the Ipswich rear guard has stood firm so far.

14:48HALF-TIME: FULHAM 0-1 IPSWICH
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:48Just one minute to be added on at the end of this first half.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:46Iwobi and Cairney combine down the right and Iwobi plays the ball across from the touchline. Jimenez's header is repelled by Johnson and as it falls to Wilson, he appears to strike it with his left foot cleanly but it is way wide of the right post.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:45Johnson is forced to head behind as a long ball from the Fulham right causes him unrest with Andersen lurking behind him.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:45Fulham are trying to get back into this but Ipswich have stunned them, just as they did Chelsea last week.

Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:39Antonee Robinson is a key outlet for Fulham, recording 10 Premier League assists in 2024. It is the joint highest by a Fulham player in a single year, with Luis Boa Morte achieving the same in 2005.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:39 , Lawrence OstlereGoal! Samuel Joseph Szmodics
Nathan Broadhead swings in a lovely ball to the back post which Antonee Robinson heads against his bar trying to clear. The rebound falls to Sammie Szmodics, whose shot deflects in off Calvin Bassey with Fulham’s defence pulled all over the place.
Fulham 0-1 Ipswich
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:38Much better from Fulham. Robinson plays a one-two with Iwobi and races into the box from the left. His cut-back is met by O'Shea though. Better movement from the home side who need to get Robinson involved more on that left side.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:36A rare chance to create something for Ipswich who have a corner. It does not even beat the first man and is headed out for a throw. The throw is launched into the box where Delap flicks on, but Bassey wallops clear.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:35This encounter is desperately short of quality so far. Fulham have looked marginally better going forward, but have not crafted enough in the way of opportunities. Ipswich-whilst tight-have not offered anything in attack.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:32The resulting free kick is floated to the far right of the penalty area, where Andersen attempts to get as much purchase as he can on the header, but it loops harmlessly into the grasp of Walton. Not enough whip and pace on the ball to cause problems.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:28Yellow Card Leif Davis
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:28Castagne is furious after two apparent Ipswich infringements go unotticed. Woolfenden appeared to stop Wilson slaloming through the visitors' dfence with his hand blocking the ball. Then Morsy bundles Cairney to the ground.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:27Delap takes the ball in on the right touchline, but two Fulham players immediately offer him company. He will be closely watched you feel this afternoon. Bassey and Cairney combine to win the throw.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:25Some pressure building from Fulham who are camping in Ipswich's half at the moment. Ipswich are missing the pace of Hutchinson on the break. They have to get out more.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:23EXCELLENT SAVE!! Walton had to be equal to that effort on goal from Jimenez. The attacker hung in the air and connected well with a header from the centre of the goal after a good ball from the left by Cairney. Walton flung himself to his right and got a strong hand to push the effort away.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:22Fulham free kick on the right. Some jostling in the box. Lukic swirls one in, Woolfenden and then O'Shea clear.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:21It is very flat at the moment, we have seen just one attempt in the game. Surely it will burst into life before too long?
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:19Robinson nearly gets on the end of an incisive pass through the middle with the American drifting infield, but the ball is interrcepted by the well orchestrated Ipswich back line.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:18From a promising break, with Delap running into the Fulham half, Ipswich proceed to go all the way back to defence to keep the ball. They are nearly robbed in possession in their own defensive third, but Lukic's tackle was deemed a little overzealous.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:16Castagne sends a tempting ball in from the right, but the ball is deflected behind for a corner. The corner is taken, and the ball lands on the edge of the box where Lukic swings wildly on the volley. It goes up in the air and somehow finds its way to Bassey on the left edge of the box. He is eventually crowded out and the Fulham attack is thwarted.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:13A little wasteful there from Ipswich. They carefully try to play out from the back until O'Shea decides to send a long curling ball into the right channel. But it is nowhere near Delap who cuts an isolated figure in the Fulham half.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:13If Delap can replicate the bullish display he turned in against Chelsea, the Fulham back line can look forward to a busy afternoon.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:11Delap leads the Fulham defence on a merry dance, with a pirouette that causes a foul just outside the Fulham box around 25 yards out. Morsy elects to clip the free kick to the far post where Davis slings a left leg out to divert it back into a dangerous area, but Fulham clear.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:08Bassey goes on a marauding run from the back and glides past Szmodics on his way into the Ipswich half. He passes to Cairney on the left touchline and continues his run. Cairney loops a high ball that causes Walton to back pedal. It landed on the roof of the net and presumably was a wayward cross.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:05Broadhead feeds Szmodics on the right flank. He attempts to cross but Bassey intercepts, blasting the ball back at the Ipswich forward and Fulham come away with the ball.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:04Some early possession from Fulham at the start. Ipswich, in their all pink changed kit, keep their shape in their own half.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:03A long diagonal from Andersen is flicked on by Jimenez on the right and Castagne earns a throw deep into Ipswich territory.

Fulham vs Ipswich Town
14:01Craven Cottage is the setting for today's match. It's a bleak wintery afternoon and as the players take to the pitch, plenty are sporting long sleeves and there are a few pairs of gloves on display. We are nearing kick-off.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
13:30Kieran McKenna makes two changes from the victory over Chelsea. In come Ben Johnson and Sammie Szmodics for Wes Burns and Omari Hutchinson. Burns drops to the bench, but the omission of Hutchinson from the matchday squad would indicate that an injury has been picked up by the former Chelsea man who scored last time out. Top scorer Delap leads the attack.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
13:30Marco Silva once again goes with a back five in defence, hoping that the wing-backs Robinson and Castagne can cause the opposition problems on the flanks. Cairney is preferred to Pereira this afternoon in the middle of the park. Otherwise, it is the same eleven that drew 2-2 with Bournemouth. Robinson captains the side, and Jimenez is again set to lead the line in attack.

Fulham vs Ipswich Town
13:30Fulham take on Ipswich hoping to continue their fine run of form which sees them unbeaten in their last seven in the Premier League. Having led twice against Bournemouth last time out, only to be pegged back to end the game 2-2, they may harbour a tinge of disappointment not to have come away with three points. But their current undefeated streak is impressive and has seen them deny the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. The Cottagers hold a strong advantage in the head-to-head stats against today’s opponents, winning their last six league games against them. Marco Silva’s side will, however, be acutely aware that the Tractor Boys arrive in good spirits, having beaten Chelsea 2-0 in their last game, which incidentally, was immediately after Fulham had also recorded a victory over the Blues.
Fulham vs Ipswich Town
13:30Ipswich will be buoyant after they upset the odds to bring Chelsea crashing down to earth with a 2-0 victory last week, thanks to goals from Liam Delap and former Chelsea man Omari Hutchinson. Delap, in particular, is gaining admiring glances from other clubs following his exploits, and Ipswich fans will hope the club can rebuff any advances this month if they are to have any chance of retaining their Premier League status. They are looking to record consecutive wins for the first time in the league this season. A win today would propel them out of the bottom three, leapfrogging Wolves and Everton, with the former playing tomorrow against Nottingham Forest.
