Watch Fulham Vs Ipswich highlights as a chaotic Premier League game at Craven Cottage ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw after Raul Jimenez’s stoppage-time penalty.
Jimenez scored his second penalty of the match in added time to steal a point for the hosts in a second half that saw three penalties awarded.
Fulham controlled possession, but found themselves trailing at the break. Ipswich scored the opener in the 38th minute when he fired home a rebound after Ben Johnson’s header hit the bar.
The second half is where the game exploded into life, though. Fulham levelled through Jimenez’s first penalty, awarded after a VAR check.
Appeals from the Fulham players were initially dismissed by referee Darren Bond, but Ipswich skipper Sam Morsy’s trip on Harry Wilson was eventually deemed enough for a spot-kick.
But just 21 seconds after play resumed, it was Ipswich’s turn to win a penalty. Timothy Castagne caught Liam Delap in the box, with the referee awarding another penalty.
Having won the penalty, Delap converted powerfully for his eighth league goal of the season.
It then looked like Ipswich were heading for a crucial away victory when Jack Clarke hit the post late on.
But Jimenez was then cut down by Leif Davis at the other end, allowing the Mexican international to slot his second of the afternoon and rescue a point for the hosts in added time.
