Fulham vs Chelsea line-ups: Kepa returns as Maurizio Sarri starts No.1 goalkeeper

Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri has opted to recall Kepa Arrizabalaga to the Chelsea starting XI against Fulham for the first time since their fall-out during the EFL Cup final.

The Spaniard was involved in a controversial row with his manager in penalty shootout defeat to Manchester City after refusing to be substituted in the final stages of extra time.

Kepa was forced to release a statement apologising to his manager and team-mates after the bust-up, and was fined a week's wages by the club for the incident.

But it appears all has been forgiven with the 24-year-old coming back into the line-up to replace Willy Caballero for the west London derby, after Sarri revealed he would welcome the £71m goalkeeper back into the first-team fold.

The Italian coach has also decided to surprisingly rest Pedro, who put in a man of the match performance on Wednesday, with Willian returning to the starting XI. Ross Barkley also comes back in, with Mateo Kovacic dropping to the bench.

David Luiz is another surprise name on the bench, with Andreas Christensen making only his third Premier League start of the season at centre-back. And finally, Emerson comes in for Marcos Alonso at left-back.

For Fulham, caretaker boss Scott Parker has opted to return to the 3-5-2 shape Claudio Ranieri worked with in the early days of his short-lived reign.

The only change in personnel for the Cottagers sees teenager Ryan Sessegnon come in for Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
