Fulham vs Arsenal LIVE: Premier League result, final score and reaction

A general view of Craven Cottage - (Getty Images)

Follow live coverage as Fulham face Arsenal today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Manchester City look to make it an unprecedented five titles in a row come the end of 2024/25.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Fulham FC 1 - 1 Arsenal FC

Fulham vs Arsenal

16:04

There's the full-time whistle, and once again Arsenal are unable to find a way past Fulham, and their three-game winning run comes to an end with a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage! The hosts hardly troubled Arsenal in the second half, generating just 0.14 xG with a Pereira shot which was easily dealt with by Raya. At the other end, Fulham did all they could to cling onto their 1-0 first-half lead, but were pegged back seven minutes into the second half by Saliba's close-range finish from a well-worked corner routine. The Gunners generated 1.93 xG of their own and saw Trossard, Havertz, Partey and Rice all go close to grabbing the winner. Saka thought he'd done exactly that two minutes from time as he headed in Martinelli's cross at the far post, but VAR intervened to spot an offside in the build-up and consign the Gunners to just a point rather than the three they came for! That sends Arsenal up to second in the table, albeit having played a game more than the sides around them and still six points behind Liverpool, while other results see Fulham drop to 10th, having looked at half-time like they were destined for the dizzy heights of fifth in the Premier League.

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:57

FULL-TIME: FULHAM 1-1 ARSENAL.

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:56

With time running out, Martinelli darts to the byline and hangs up a cross over the top. No-one in an Arsenal shirt can get there until Partey collects the ball on the far side, but after he plays Saka down the line again, the would-be goalscorer can only drill his cutback into Leno's gloves!

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:56

Yellow Card Declan Rice

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:54

Arsenal win another free-kick on the left-hand side and Rice stands over it again, but this delivery is wildly overhit and resembles more of a shot as it sails wide!

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:51

We're into the first of five added minutes at Craven Cottage, and will that be enough time for a late twist in the tale?

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:51

NO GOAL!!! Saka and Arsenal are denied!! The England man's far-post run and finish are given the green light, but it's Martinelli, the assister, who is marginally offside in the build-up to his cross and the goal is chalked off. Can the Gunners respond to find a later winner here?

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:51

Substitution Saša Lukić Jorge Cuenca Barreno

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:50

BALL IN THE NET!!! Might that be the winner for Arsenal? Martinelli is found out on the left and drives forward before standing up Wilson and crossing. The ball flashes right across the face of goal, and it's Saka who steals in at the far post to head beyond a scrambling Leno and in! The players wheel away to celebrate right in front of the away end, but VAR have had a word in the ear...

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:17

Each of Saliba's last five Premier League goals have come from corners, and it's impressive at just how effective the Gunners are from set-pieces at the moment – what a weapon to have in their arsenal.

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:15

Early replays suggested that Saliba was indeed offside, but the trailing leg of Robinson at the far post gave Arsenal the reprieve they needed!

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:12

Assist Kai Lukas Havertz

Fulham vs Arsenal

15:05

Fulham ripped up the script in the first half, and that's reflected in our live win probability tracker, with the hosts now rated at a 47.8% chance of victory and Arsenal down on just 22.3% themselves. It's still all to play for in the second period though, as Smith Rowe gets the game back underway.

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:57

Rice has been one of Arsenal's key players at both ends so far, having two of their best chances to restore parity to the scoreline in the first half. The England midfielder has had two touches in the box and two shots, as well as creating a chance with one of eight final-third passes. He's also turned possession over three times, including once in the final third, putting in a tackle and interception apiece as he tries to drag the Gunners back into this game.

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:53

There's the half-time whistle at Craven Cottage, and against the run of play it's the hosts Fulham who lead Arsenal 1-0 at the break! For all their dominance of possession and territory, the Gunners have only been able to muster 0.59 xG, seeing efforts from Saliba and Rice put wide before Saka forced a save from Leno with their only shot on target. Fulham, meanwhile, hit the visitors early on the break, as Jimenez raced clear to find the far corner after just 11 minutes and give the hosts a shock lead. Their 0.03 xG has been good enough so far, and it's Arsenal who have it all to do if they want to turn things around in the second half.

14:46

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:46

Partey and Odegaard link up well in a tight space on the byline, but the Arsenal captain's eventual ball into the box is an easy one for Leno to claim.

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:43

CHANCE! Saka's dangerous cross into the middle is swung low towards the far post, where Rice is sliding in at full stretch but can't quite get on the end of it!

14:38

Trossard looks to pick out Havertz with a cross into the box on the cut-back, but Diop gets his head to it first and sends the ball back into Leno's gloves.

14:36

Fulham right-back Tete has two assists across his last three Premier League games, as many as he managed across 49 previous matches in the competition.

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:33

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:32

Having kept nine clean sheets in their 10 Premier League away games between February and September, Arsenal have now conceded in six in a row on the road.

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:29

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:28

WIDE!!! Rice makes a third-man run into the area unmarked and is picked out by Trossard's first-time pass, but the midfielder's left-footed effort is dragged just wide of the far post!

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:27

Leno claims another Saka in-swinger from an Arsenal free-kick and launches the ball forward on the counter, but Traore can't quite get there before it sails out of play.

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:16

OVER!!! Arsenal have a chance to hit straight back from a free-kick crossed into the box, but after it's punched clear by Leno, Rice tries a half-volley back towards goal but can only skew it over the bar!

Fulham vs Arsenal

14:13

Assist Kenny Joelle Tete

14:01

Unsurprisingly, the high-flying visitors are being heavily backed to win this one in our live win probability tracker, leading the way on a 56.1% chance of victory to Fulham’s 20.9%. The hosts will be hoping to turn that narrative into their favour though, as both teams make their way out onto the pitch!

Fulham vs Arsenal
