Fulham signing Adama Traore hoping to reignite Raul Jimenez spark at Craven Cottage

New Fulham new signing Adama Traore believes he can strike up a fruitful partnership with Raul Jimenez after being reunited with his former Wolves team-mate at Craven Cottage.

Traore joined Fulham on a free transfer over the weekend after Jimenez made a £5million switch from Wolves over the summer.

“I’m grateful to be here and hungry to start,” said Traore.

“I like the club, and I also have information from Raul. He seems to like the club, the manager and the team.

“My relationship with Raul has been amazing. We have a good friendship and connection on the pitch.”

Traore added: “It's a nice opportunity for me, another chapter. I'm excited and hungry to give 100 per cent here.

“I’ve scored against Fulham. Now I will score for Fulham. For sure, I would like to stay for a long time. I’m ready to start when the gaffer needs me.”

Fulham's director of football operations Tony Khan said: “He's an explosive and powerful winger with great pace, and he has tremendous experience in the Premier League.

“He's a player with whom we are very familiar and he's been on the opposing side of our team on numerous occasions. I believe that he'll be a great addition to the squad.”
