Fulham head coach Marco Silva admitted that he did not believe his side deserved to be on the losing side of the scoreline following Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at Craven Cottage.
United youngster Alejandro Garnacho, fresh from providing two assists in Thursday night's Carabao Cup triumph over Aston Villa, climbed off the bench to net a 93rd-minute winner, ensuring United went into the World Cup pause just three points shy of the top-four. Former Reds winger Daniel James had earlier stepped off the bench himself to bring Fulham level, cancelling out Christian Eriksen's first-half opener.
In what proved to be an entertaining contest on the banks of the Thames, both sides carried a good attacking threat from the very first whistle. Both sides had chances in the first half, but it was United that went into the interval with their noses in front.

Fulham, in fairness, were worthy of their 61st-minute leveller and had chances to completely turn the game on its head soon after, only to be denied by David de Gea. And for boss Silva, Garnacho's late winner was hard for him and his side to stomach.
"Of course it's really tough to take," said Silva. "Twice in seven days for us with a late goal, and losing the chance to add more points for our table and for the performance that we have been playing.
"It's really tough to take, but this one is different [to Manchester City] because I think we were the best team on the pitch and we deserved much more from the game, definitely. Last week was slightly different.
"From the first minute [today], the way we tried, the way we played, much better second half but even in the first half we were sharp. I said during the half-time that we should improve on the things that we haven't done so well during the first half. Our second half was even better than the first one.
"We did it well, we created chances, we equalised the game and then unfortunately we conceded a goal in a moment when we wanted to score the second but the moment was under control. The way they scored a second goal is really tough to take, because it's the Premier League you know, and you don't want to switch off and they punish you.
"I think that our boys, for sure, they don't deserve it. Our fans as well, the crowd was always there helping us."
