Fuel thefts in Falkirk have risen over the past week or so with cops issuing a warning.
It's thought the increased cost of petrol and diesel at the pumps across Scotland could be to blame.
Police Scotland say they have had reported thefts from both domestic and commercial premisses.
Those who store fuel are being advised to make sure that they're using lockable gates, fitting a locking fuel cap or alarm and installing security lighting.
It's not know exactly how many incidents have been reported to cops though.
