As of 8am this morning, June 7, petrol prices in Tallaght were 220.7c per litre for petrol and 210.7 for diesel.
The prices were recorded at Top filling station on the Tallaght Road.
This is a significant increase since this time last week, when prices in Dublin were peaking at 203.9c

Dublin is seeing huge swings in fuel costs, with Dundrum seeing petrol prices at 201.9c per litre and diesel at 191.9c per litre, an almost 20c price difference compared to the Tallaght Top filling station.
The Irish Government slashed prices earlier this year after Russia's invasion of Ukraine resulted in a massive jumps in the cost of petrol and diesel.
The price of petrol was reduced by 20c per litre and diesel has been cut by 15c per litre.
However, fuel prices have once again jumped up, making it more important than ever to shop around.
