FSU QB Jordan Travis Provides Injury Update From Hospital Bed

Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis was transported to a local Tallahassee hospital via ambulance following an injury to his left leg during the first quarter of Saturday’s game vs. North Alabama.

Travis posted a video on his Instagram story Sunday morning from his hospital bed to give fans an update on his mental well-being. However, he didn’t necessarily give an update on his injury status.

“Just want to let y’all know I’m doing good, feeling good, got a smile on my face,” Travis said. “Just going to follow God’s plan, and God has a journey for me. Going to trust Him every step of the way. I appreciate y’all for all the messages. Go ‘Noles.”

It was an emotional scene for the senior as he was carted off the field on Saturday for what was expected to be his last game at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Former Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston was in attendance for the celebration of the 2013 season, and the Saints quarterback offered Travis some positive advice following the injury. It was clear, though, that Winston was shaken up about what happened on the field.

Travis likely finished his 2023 season by throwing 2,755 yards, 20 touchdown passes and just two interceptions.
