Whether you're at home (hello, heatwave) or away, it's that time of year when a swimwear refresh is in order.

And where better to look for inspiration than the aspirational holiday snaps of A-listers on the 'gram?

From Kate Moss to the Kardashians and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, their jet-setting lifestyles mean the stars regularly showcase all the best bikini and swimsuits brands, many of which have managed to remain under-the-radar.

So, if you're looking to update your beach wardrobe, here are four star-approved labels to know about.

If you've been wondering where this year's belted swimsuit trend came from, look no further than Solid & Striped.

The brand was thrown into the spotlight at Taylor Swift's Fourth of July party in 2016, when the singer and all of her A-list squad, including Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne, were decked out in various styles of the red, white and blue suits.

Unsurprisingly, since then, the brand has become a go-to for celebrities and influencers including Katy Perry and Kendall Jenner.

London-based brand Hunza G has taken Instagram by storm one eye-catching swimsuit at a time. Kim Kardashian has been seen in one of the bright orange two-pieces, Alexa Chung and Dua Lipa opted for feminine frilly numbers, and both Hailey Baldwin and Emily Ratajkowski went for more minimal designs. Even our very own Holly Willoughby has rocked the brand's hot pink classic swimming cozzie.

It was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, though who recently shone a spotlight on the label's unique textured crinkle swimsuits - a perfect beach-to-bar garment.

Aexae

Haven't heard of Aexae? Neither had we until Kim Kardashian and elder sister Kourtney went on a mini break together and sported matching black bikinis by the Australian brand.

Their classic styles may look luxe, but are surprisingly very affordable. Kim's Heather Top, costs just £42 making it probably the most affordable thing we're ever seen the reality TV star wear. Ever.

For A-list style on a budget, this is the brand for you.

Kiini

The A-list has had a longterm love affair with New York based brand Kiini.

The crochet sets are a unique twist on the beachwear staple and come in a tonne of different styles, from trendy rainbow bikinis to sleek black swimsuits.

Bella Hadid, Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne continue to champion the brand. Plus, it's even got supermodel Kate Moss's seal of approval.
