In the Peruvian town of Chancay, located around 100 kilometres north of the capital Lima, construction is currently underway on a "mega port", intended to be South America's largest hub for the transport of goods. China is Peru's largest trading partner and the main investor in the project, which is part of Beijing's Belt and Road Initiative. FRANCE 24's Amanda Chaparro and Guillaume Gosalbes report, with Josh Vardey.
