It's always a big deal when Saint Laurent launches a new collection. Whether it's revealed up on the runway or Anthony Vaccarello decides to drop a line online. The French fashion house's latest offering called Tan Lines delivers several striking pieces, but there's arguably one standout. We're talking about that quilted coin purse/french fry holder. It made us wonder how many other cool coin purses are out there.
Turns out, quite a lot. Designers are definitely investing in the specialty bags. Vivienne Westwood offers its colorful plaid pattern in pouch form. If logos are more your bag (get it?), look to Diesel, Celine and Balenciaga. There are some similar silhouettes, like hearts and circles. Then there's Loewe deciding to design a lemon raffia version. Louis Vuitton also went a different route with a shell shape that appears as if was plucked directly from the sea.
If your current wallet is flush with change, not cash (hence needing a coin purse), we managed to track down some more affordable takes. Including some designer fare. Diesel's aforementioned entry is just $105. Jil Sander's perfect purple bag is $140. Jacquemus' necklace-style purse costs a little under $170. You can go even lower, though. Marc Jacobs' super sunny circle costs $84. While Undercover's slightly creepy skull pouch will run you $51.
