From Dingwall to Montreal - Ross County player completes MLS transfer switch

Victor Loturi has sealed a transfer switch from Ross County to Major League Soccer side CF Montreal.

Loturi spent two-and-a-half years in Dingwall, but fell out of favour under manager Don Cowie this season.

The 23-year-old midfielder made 85 appearances in total for the Highland club, scoring two goals in that time.

A County statement confirming the undisclosed deal said: "We thank Victor for his contributions during his time at the club and wish him all the very best for the future!"

Meanwhile, CF Montréal president and CEO Gabriel Gervais commented: "We are very pleased to acquire a young Canadian player like Loturi.”

"At only 23 years of age, Loturi has already acquired diverse experience in several international contexts.

"He is a versatile midfielder who will bring us depth in more defensive tasks and as a playmaker in the build-up play.”
