Daizen Maeda has already turned his attention to a strong end to Celtic’s domestic campaign.
In a heart-wrenching conclusion to their UEFA Champions League campaign, Celtic were eliminated by Bayern Munich after a stoppage-time goal from Alphonso Davies secured a 1-1 draw, allowing the German side to advance with a 3-2 aggregate victory.
The decisive moment came in the fourth minute of added time, crushing Celtic’s hopes of progressing further in the tournament.
Maeda started in attack for the Hoops and worked tirelessly to ensure their German hosts weren’t going to have an easy night.
But despite a heroic effort, it wasn't meant to be for the Scottish Premiership leaders, and now the focus shifts towards Saturday's lunch time kick-off against Hibernian.
Reacting to his team's elimination from Europe's elite competition, Maeda took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts.
He said: "Thank you for the amazing support last night!
"We have another game coming up soon so we just need to switch gears and get ready for the next one!"
