Fringe Celtic striker Johnny Kenny is reportedly in contention to receive an Ireland call up this month.
Boss Heimer Halgrimsson will soon name his squad for a crucial UEFA Nations League playoff against Bulgaria later this month, and Kenny could be among those selected to play, reports The42.ie.
The 21-year-old impressed on loan at Shamrock Rovers last year, scoring 20 goals and assisting three across all competitions.
He also stood out for the club in Europe, regularly netting in the UEFA Conference League as Rovers reached the competition's knockout round playoff stage.

Brendan Rodgers kept him at Celtic in the January window to add depth to his attacking ranks amid Kyogo Furuhashi's mid-season departure.
While Kenny has made just five appearances for the Parkhead side this year, he could get a first senior Ireland call up soon and join his club teammates Adam Idah and Liam Scales in playing for his country.
Parkhead boss Rodgers had some high praise for Kenny after his Celtic debut: "It was absolutely brilliant," he said.
"A young Irish guy who came in a few years ago and he obviously went back out and did really well. He scored goals regularly and scored in Europe for Shamrock.
"To then come in and be given that opportunity, I was so pleased for him because it just means everything to him and for any of the young players. He's deserved that wee runout that he's had."
