Tragedy struck when Michael “Mikey” Stovall and Jesse Pitcher, along with other friends, lost their lives in a plane crash following their annual hunting trip to Kansas. According to family members, Stovall was described as an amazing father and son by his mother, Christina Stovall. She fondly remembered him as someone who had no enemies, always spreading happiness and seeing the good in everyone.
Stovall, a steamfitter by profession, was one of the victims of the crash. His cousin, Shawna Slarb, shared that he was a dedicated worker. The Steamfitters UA Local 602 union also confirmed that four of their members were among the victims, although no names were disclosed.
Jesse Pitcher, who worked alongside Stovall, was another individual who tragically lost his life in the crash. His father, Jameson Pitcher, revealed that Jesse had been married for just over a year and was in the process of building a home. He had eagerly anticipated the hunting trip with his friends.
