Friends' Helen Baxendale shows off her radiant beauty as she takes 50th birthday stroll

Actress Helen Baxendale turned 50 over the weekend and she celebrated her lockdown birthday by taking her dog for a walk.

The Friends star - who played Emily, the wife of Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), in the American sitcom - ensured her stunning natural looks took centre stage as she opted to go make-up free as she enjoyed the socially distanced stroll.

Helen cut a casual figure in a pair of denim jeans paired with a blue T-shirt and zip-up hoodie, was snapped stopping on her walk to chat with fellow dog walker as she stepped out nearby her London home.

She ensured she kept comfortable by wearing canvas trainers.

The accomplished actress proved she is ageing gracefully as she allowed her silvering locks to be seen as she got some fresh air.

Helen starred in 16 episodes of Friends back in the nineties.

The show writers had intended to keep her on the show longer but they had to write her out sooner than expected as she and husband David L.Williams were having a child.

The star shared in 2012 that her time on the series was all a bit overwhelming and that she has no regrets about leaving the sitcom.

She reflected during a chat with the Daily Mail: "You couldn’t walk down the street to buy a pint of milk. In fact, you couldn’t go anywhere. It was impossible to mix with the crowd, and do what ordinary people do.

‘I saw it as a gilded prison. It was something I wasn’t prepared for. But it was quickly forgotten. I don’t get the same attention now.

‘Fame just didn’t fit in with my life. I don’t know how much would have come from staying in the States anyway. I didn’t want to live in America, when all my circumstances were leading me back to Britain. I don’t regret it for a minute."

Helen has had an impressive career over the years including starring as Rachel Bradley in Cold Feet from 1997-2003 and played Lorna Thompson in Cuckoo for seven years until 2019.
